˚The hottest thing in tech this week

In August we featured how Zillow was bringing AI into residential real estate. Now a “first-of-its-kind” prop-tech solution aims to make waves in the $21T commercial real estate (CRE) sector - one traditionally slow to adopt new technologies. CRE Hawk has created an AI-driven platform that promises to enhance decisions by ingesting real-time data inflows and delivering “actionable insights” that integrate directly into workflows. Research by CBRE finds that “fewer CRE teams currently use data for predictive analytics, [and] digital transformation to achieve next-level value is becoming a major focus for forward-thinking CRE teams.”

CRE Hawk is bridging this technology gap using a “stakeholder approach” by working with 250+ CRE professionals to ensure the model was informed and validated by a diverse group of experts to deliver real-world industry insights before rolling it out.

This tech comes at a pivotal time considering the current economic landscape and CRE sector outlook has been bleak given rising interest rates and bank collapses earlier this year (e.g., SVB, First Republic). That said, CRE companies that adopt AI are likely to get ahead of the curve and lead the recovery effort.

Do you think AI will be adopted in the Commercial Real Estate market?

“Many platforms like ChatGPT are yet to harness AI’s full potential for individual industries. With CRE Hawk, you don’t always need to interact with the AI – it understands and anticipates your needs.”
